Episode 16: ‘Inception,’ ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,’ ‘The Kids Are All Right,’ SwitchFix

Good news, everyone! “Inception,” which Eric and Jeff both had pegged as their most-anticipated film of the summer, turned out to be fantastic. They talk about it — spoiler-free — in this week’s Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider. They also discuss “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” which is reasonably fun family entertainment, and “The Kids Are All Right,” which is good but not for the whole family. Then there’s a new game, SwitchFix; discussion of the QOTW (most disappointing films), and a new QOTW for next week: What were your favorite books as a kid (’cause “Ramona and Beezus” is coming out)? 1. I guess I wasn’t as clear as I should have been; I was saying Spiderman 3 was awful, not 2. I enjoyed 2, though not as much as the first one.

    Sorry for the confusion. 😉

    Great show as always!

  2. If you’re the Dave we were quoting, this is what you said in your e-mail:

“(Unlike Eric) I didn’t like Spiderman 2, after seeing Spiderman I was really looking forward to it, and was pretty let down. Spiderman 3 was awful, but I was kind of expecting that.”

You were actually pretty clear: You didn’t like Spider-Man 2. 🙂

  3. oh.. well kiss my grits, I forgot I took such a strong stance about Spiderman 2. I do still enjoy the first one more than Spiderman 2.

I guess my approval of movies is as flighty as my decisions to make those opinions public. 😛
