An Inconvenient Truth

April 4th, 2007 by Sam

End times are coming. For those who are religious the signs are all around us. is there anything that can be done to slow the process. The answer for us is bleak and mostly unattainable, but for some who want to try and make a difference this documentary by Al Gore will open their eyes the accelerating process at which we are condemning our only home.

For someone who enjoys that our Earth provides limitless oxygen and a supply of water that taste delicious, I believe that anyone that feels this way also should watch this film. At this time we are still provided with these things and can enjoy them freely, but as this documentary points out, this might not always be the case. Al Gore makes the prevalent point that we may not decide to focus on this issue until it is already to late.

Al Gore does a good job of relaying why he got into the environmental movement. From relating to his life as a father and almost losing his son in a tragic car accident, and realizing what was important in his life and what he wanted to leave behind for him. If this movie does not inspire you too try and change your life to a more environmental friendly life then your part of the problem. A saying that should echo in your head at the end of the movie is if you have children, do you want them asking you someday why you didn't do anything to change the world before the problem became to great?
