The movie Slither is definitely a movie for the textbook horror movie junky. Not much twist and turns here, not much of a story either, but it does deliver on the few scares that do come from watching the movie. You have the basic story, the basic town, under the basic attack from an unknown species, with the basic group of people forming together to ward off the attack and hopefully save the town resulting in the inevitable saving of the world in the process.

The few surprises that can be found in the movie is the killing of little kids. Usually seeming to be a 'no no' in horror movies, Slither seems to have no problems offing children without a second thought. No real graphical scenes involve children, those are reserved for the adults of course which, most are over the top killings that result in laughter as well as disgust. Final thoughts: Slither is a fun movie if you like horror movies that deliver a classic horror movie scenario.
| Quick Review | |
|---|---|
| Plot/Storyline It's classic horror movie storyline, which is not exactly a bad thing. |

| Acting/Characters Some memorable characters, that if others around you have seen the movie could stir conversation. |
8.5 |
| Visuals/Sound Not bad, not good, surely could have been worse for a film like this, could have been better for a movie that basically is leeches. |

| Replay Maybe good for giving those in the film industry trying to breakthrough how to do a horror movie right. Also recently I am sad gag reels on DVD's are basically only messed up takes in the movie. |
