What happens when you assume? That's right you make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me.' Saw 1 and Saw 2 both had you assume something was going on in a certain way and in all actuality it wasn't even close with what you thought. Saw 3 delivers on a grander scale with multiple tiers of assumption, but somehow has managed to not make it repetitive or overdone. I went in to this movie expecting more gore and not much of a back story and was blown away to find an actually thought out story with good morals to it. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but Saw 3 has good morals too it. Cherishing what you have in life has always been a theme of the Saw movies, but this one adds forgiveness, letting go of the past, and not forgetting who really gets hurt when life takes a turn for the worse.
I can honestly say that I enjoyed this Saw more than any of the previous Saws out there. The story delivers a final chapter kind of feel with a multiple story lines that make you care about the characters and makes you want to get back to each character's story to find out more of their story. This movie also manages to ask and answer many of the questions you may have had from the previous Saw movies and doesn't have you leaving the theater scratching your head wondering if you missed something. As in true Saw fashion Saw 3 has some of the most creative ways to die than a homicidal serial killer could have thought up. The visuals have been developed in the franchise to have their own genre type feel and it only gets better with this next sequel in the series. Also their is a special place in my heart for a horror movie that comes out around Halloween. Oh Saw 3, thank you for the things you have taught me, and Jigsaw if you are listening I love life.

Acting/Characters Do you remember the first Saw actors? Well if you do the improvement in hires is obvisously noted and we are grateful for them.

Visuals/Sound Saw has managed to develop it's own style and sounder. Saw 3 does not disappoint in changing the formula only in making it better.

Replay Once you know the twist is it worth seeing again. Maybe for DVD extras or if you want a certain girl to bury herself in your chest hair.
