With Thanksgiving a day away, studios are releasing movies on Wednesday hoping to make a nice profit from the extended weekend. It looks like Deck the Halls, Deja Vu, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, and The Fountain will all be in theaters tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to all of them except Deck the Halls. I really hope that someday we get some truly funny Christmas movies on par with Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story, but recent attempts have stunk up the place and Deck the Halls looks no better.
I really want to see the other three, but will probably be able to manage one. I might have to check out Casino Royale again, I really enjoyed it and my wife has yet to see it. Also, below is the teaser for the next Harry Potter film. Looks pretty good, Order of the Phoenix is not my favorite book as a whole, but has a lot of moments I look forward to seeing on the big screen. There are higher quality versions on the web if you don't care for the youTube version.
That's it for this update. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

I sory I hav postd not 4 a wille. W pos more of4en. But seriously folk it has been a bit, but with a new baby it is tough to get out and see the movies. But as my buddy has said there are some new releases this Friday and one major one to see Casino Royale (in my mind) can they revive the Bond francise a bit. Now not that I believe it will ever die, but I believe it has been lacking for a while. Come on Halle Berry telling someone "your mamma"=instant stinker. So I hope the new Casino Royale will put the rest to shame. Also Happy Feet, yeah I saw that movie once and it was called March of the Penguins and it sucked then also (sorry Freeman I know you thought it would put you over the top), so animated penguins singing, I am not quite sure if you can actually make it into the theater with your testicles Brent, so good luck. Lastly Going to Prison. I am with my friend Brent, Arrested Development was one the smartest shows on television, and I am sad to see it go. But dude G.O.B. stick to cameo's in movies. Oh well that is all I have to say, my editor Jen will correct the rest Spangler out!

Hey everyone, Brent here with another look at the movies coming out this weekend. The major releases this week are Casio Royale, Happy Feet and Let's Go To Prison. Casino Royal marks Hollywood's attempt to try and save James Bond from the recent run of crappy 007 adventures. At first I was hesitant about the casting of Daniel Craig (whom I like, but didn't see as 007), but the trailers have got me pretty pumped, it looks like it could be the Batman Begins of the James Bond movies.
I've also heard good things about Happy Feet, the animated film about a penguin who can dance but can't sing. I'm a sucker for the animated movies, so I'll most likely check this out. Let's Go To Prison is the other major release starring Will Arnett(Arrested Development) and I'm not sure what I think of it. I loved Arnett as G.O.B Bluth on Arrested Development, but the previews for Let's Go To Prison aren't that great. I may check it out. So, check back this weekend for a review of Casino Royale and if you go see it, I'd love to hear what you thought.
New Spiderman 3 trailer released.

The trailer for Spiderman 3 was released yesterday and you can view it above. Hopefully a higher quality version will appear online soon.
I think the trailer is alright, I was more impressed by the teaser trailer released a few months back though. Some of the effects still need some work and I'm not sure what I think about one of the plot elements revealed in the trailer, but I have faith that Sam Raimi will once again deliver a great Spiderman movie. What do you think?
