The Simpsons Movie and Why So Serious?

Hooray! The Simpsons Movie is hitting theaters today. Expect a review some time this weekend.
Also, an update to my last post about the Dark Knight teaser. It seems that the team behind the first Joker viral marketing campaign returned once again and this time, they upped the ante. A website with the address www.whysoserious.com displayed the coordinates of a place outside of the San Diego Comic Con and requested "applicants" meet there if they wanted to join the Joker's gang.
Around 10am, a plan flew over that spot and wrote the phone number 800-395-9646 and then Ha Ha, before flying off. This launched a game of sorts in which people on the ground in San Deigo had to communicate with people on the internet to solve various puzzles and to help guide them to the next spot. At the end of all the puzzles we were greeting with a new picture from the film:

My thoughts? Once again, an awesome marketing idea that is very clever and very fun for the fans. With the movie still about a year away, it's nice to get some bits of information to hold us over.
The teaser is just that, a teaser. There isn't footage from the film, but we do hear some dialogue from what sounds like The Joker. It sounds like two different voices to me though...perhaps Two-face?

Word on the stre..er...net is that a teaser trailer for the Dark Knight will be appearing before some showings of The Simpson's Movie. I was planning to see The Simpson's Movie anyway, so this will be a nice bonus (assuming the rumor is true).
Like the name "teaser trailer" implies, it will be a tease with not a whole lot shown, but the rumor is that we will get a few hints of the plot, hear Heath Ledger as the Joker and possibly get a very quick peak of how he looks on the big screen. As a Batman fanatic, this stuff gets me excited, but you probably could have guessed that from my previous Dark Knight updates
Anyway...I would expect the trailer to show up shortly after it premieres in theaters, and you can bet that I'll have a post with my take on the teaser.

Hey everyone, I apologize for the lack of updates and my failure to get a Harry Potter review up. I'll just say, the new movie is good and fans of the previous Harry Potter films won't be disappointed.
I also want to post really quick about a new release this week that I am looking forward too, Sunshine.
The plot summary:
"Fifty years from now, the sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel."

In my opinion, it looks like the best new release hitting theaters this week. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry looks pretty bad to me, and while Hairspray is getting good reviews, it's not really my thing.
Expect a review of Sunshine sometime this weekend... after I'm done reading the new Harry Potter.
